Background

I have over ten years experience in working with people in organisations in a people management role. I began my counselling journey in 2001 with the Irish Institute of Cognitive and Humanistic Psychotherapy, graduating with a diploma in counselling, hypnotherapy and NLP in 2005. I continued my studies in Psychology with Dublin Business School and graduated with a BA Honours Degree in 2011.

I have brought together all of the practical skills of managing people, along with the theoretical skills of counselling, NLP and psychology and applied to a practice in both Phibsboro and Terenure.

I have also recently become a mother which has led me to investigate the effects of major life events and changes on people in every day life. My BA thesis researched the psychological effects of returning to the work place after becoming a mother for the first time and showed some interesting findings in how society, the economy and people’s general coping strategies impact on managing change.
